An Awesome Angel, has entered into God’s Heavenly Gates.
Alberta Ann Fitzgerald, 83 years young, passed peacefully into Heaven on Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Alberta was born in Big Spring, Texas on January 30, 1938, to the late James Harrington, and Gladys Atchley Camp. She was the oldest of two children.
Besides her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother, James Harrington McKee and a son, Scottie Earl Fitzgerald.
She worked at General Dynamics and retired from Bell Helicopter in Hurst, Texas.
She lived in Hurst, Texas for over 30 years and then moved to her lake house in Coffee City, Texas and has been there for 20 years.
She was a member of the Eastern Star Charter, in Hurst, Texas.
She was a survivor of Breast and Lymphoma Cancer. When she was diagnosed it was a Stage 4. Through Chemotherapy she never became sick, only losing her hair. This is a testimony to her strength.
She cherished praising the Lord, praying for and with others, an avid reader of her Bible and attended church at Bullard Southern Baptist in Bullard, Texas, when she was able to. Alberta loved sharing God’s word with everyone and will continue being an example of God’s love even from Heaven.
She was a devoted mother, a true friend and a loving and caring mother in law. She loved spending time with her family and playing 42, dominoes, and the dice game 5000. In which, she was extremely good at winning.
She enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for her secret recipe of her famous Orange cake and Chocolate Pies.
Alberta leaves to cherish her loving memory to her children. A son and two daughters. Donald Monn, Jr., wife Regina, Teresa Carter, husband, James, and Cynthia Fitzgerald-McKinney. She has nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the Bullard Memorial Cemetery in Bullard, Texas with Brother Scott Parrish officiating the eulogy, at 10:00 for viewing and graveside service will follow.
