Beth Averill

On July 19th, 2020, Beth Averill went to be with the Lord. Maybeth Smith Averill was born January 7, 1925 in Atmore, Alabama.

Beth Averill had lived a very active life into her later years. Beth was an avid golfer, bowler and gemologist. Beth won many awards for her accomplishments and traveled the United States, Canada and Mexico. Beth was a former President of the Florida Panhandle Gem and Mineral Society and held many offices within the Florida women’s golfing and bowling organizations.

Beth was preceded in death by her spouse, Harry Averill and leaves behind a daughter Kay Sheppard and husband Larry from Overton, Texas, a son Ralph Bell from Tyler, Texas and a grandson, USAF Major, Kenneth William Bell and wife Atasha stationed in North Carolina.

A very special thanks goes to the Overton Health Care Center, Overton, TX where Beth resided for the exceptional love and care that was given.
