Funeral services for Betty Savage, 91, of Arlington, TX will be officiated by Paul N Benson at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Bullard, TX on March 26, 2024, at 2:00pm, with a visitation to begin at 1:00pm prior to the service. Interment will be at Frankston City Cemetery.

Mrs. Savage passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16 of respiratory failure.

She was born on February 13, 1933 in Hennipen, Oklahoma, to Earl and Pherba Lee Carter. She had lived in the Frankston area since 1989 and moved to Keller in 2019, and lived her last five months in Arlington, Texas.

When Betty was young, her family moved from Oklahoma and settled in Casa Grande, Arizona. There she met and married the love of her life, Jack B Savage, Jr. After their marriage, moved to Texas where they had three children: Lauren, Duane, and Jacque. She owned the Christian Book Centers in Arlington, Hurst, and Fort Worth.

Mrs. Savage was preceded in death by son, Lauren L. Savage and husband, Jack Savage Jr.

Survivors include her son Duane Savage of Arlington, Texas, daughter Jacque Benson (Paul) of Keller, Texas, Grandchildren include Robert Savage (Gentry), Jennifer Hurley (Kevin), David Savage (Bethany), and Jessica Savage along with six Great Grandchildren, Ryan and Aaron Jack Hurley, Jake, Lexi, Jack and Ginny Savage, and two siblings JJ Albritton of Frankston, Tx, and Farrol Carter of Myrtle Point, Oregon.

Duane Savage, Paul Benson, Robert Savage, David Savage, Kevin Hurley and Ryan Hurley to serve as pallbearers.
