1971 - 2023
Brian Hunter Wood, age 51, was called home on January 16th, after a long battle with multiple illnesses. After seven years, the medical complications became too much for him to overcome. He resided at Lindale Specialty Care in Lindale, Tx.
Brian was born on September 5, 1971, in Tyler, Tx. to Charles and Lanita Wood. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Wood, and sister Carole Goodwin. He was married to Laurie Shick for many years. He is survived by his mother, Lanita Wood of Lindale, two sons; Austen Wood and wife Shelby, and Skylar Kohlleffel of Longview, Tx., sisters; Debbie Leevey and husband James of Lindale, Tx., Donna Sloan and Susan Goodwin of Hawkins, Tx., brothers; Keith Bond of Tyler, Tx., and Kyle Brouillette of Eldorado, Ar. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Brian graduated from Rose City Christian school. He then went to a trade school for car restoration. Most of his career was working in construction. He had a passion for cars and loved to read.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at Rose Heights Church of God in Lindale, Tx., on Saturday, January 28th at 1:00 pm.
