Carole Ann Clarke

Carole Ann Clarke was born December 18,1949 in Cushing, Oklahoma and left her earthly home on March 23, 2025.

Carole was a teacher with every fiber of her body. It was her whole purpose in life. Sharing her love and enthusiasm for learning with her students was everything to her. She pursued Continuing Education all her life, earning her a number of degrees, yet her love was researching new ways to teach and impart that love of learning to her students. The awards she received during her years of teaching were insignificant compared to watching her students achieve awards and reach goals. As many former students have expressed, she was an excellent teacher and a wonderful mentor.

Carole never married or had children but, for over forty years, she had a new ‘family’ every fall and she held them dear to her heart forever. She was still tutoring up to the very end. She loved teaching, and the friends she made along the way, but most of all, her students.

She was a loving Christian, teacher, sister, aunt, friend, and, perhaps most of all, a huge animal lover.

She grew up in a happy, loving, Christian home full of laughter, love, friends, and always good food. Her parents were Robert and Marjorie Clarke. Carole was the oldest of five children; her sister Susan (Dave) Stanley, brother Randy (Mattie) Clarke, brother Rick (Sandy) Clarke, and sister Nancy (Freddie) Montemayor. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and sister Susan. Also surviving are her many special nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 12, at 1:00 PM at J-C Cowboy Church, 9530 FM 855W, Bullard, Texas, 75757.

Thanks to the loving and caring staff at Christus Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler and all her friends that cared, prayed, and shared lovely messages of love and memories of Carole.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Nicholas Pet Haven in honor of Carole.

To all of Carole’s former students, please know that each and every one of you lived in her heart all of her life. She truly cherished you.
