Carrol Louis Baker

Carrol, 65, left us to be with our Lord on November 5, 2020, with her husband and son by her side in Tyler, Texas.

Carrol was born on March 17, 1955 in Dallas to Hugo and Dorothy Torrens. Hugo was a truck driver based out of Winnsboro and Dorothy worked as a hairdresser in Dallas.

Carrol met her husband, Michael Baker, in the spring of 1973. They were married on August 24, 1973 in Dallas. They moved to Mineola in 1978. They had one son, Joe Don Baker. He was born on July 3, 1982. Joe resides in Quitman with his wife, Brittni, and their four children. Candice, 17, Michael, 14, Audrey, 11, Charlie, 6.

Carrol is survived by her husband Mike, their son Joe and his family, Carrol’s Aunt Mary Ruth and her family.

Carrol has touched the lives of many people and was a mighty warrior of the Lord. His love and teachings were passed on through Carrol. She will be remembered by her unconditional love and kindness. She will be forever missed.
