Services for Clarence "Corkey" Seymour Jackson Jr, 62, of Jacksonville, will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at J.C. Cowboy Church in Mt. Selman with Mike Blumn officiating, under the direction of Boren Conner Funeral Home.Visitation will be on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral immediately following.
Corkey passed on to his home in Heaven on Thursday February 11, 2021 at the age of 62 years old. He was born on September 14, 1958 in Reno, Nevada to William and Ada Jackson.
Corkey worked in the pipeline industry until he retired.
He was a member of J.C. Cowboy Church.
Corkey was preceded in death by his wife, Janis Marie Goff Jackson and his parents, William and Ada Jackson. He is survived by his partner, Doris Arnold of Jacksonville, Texas; son, William Ray Jackson of Chapel Hill, Texas; daughter Jessica Lynn Jackson of Jacksonville, Texas; grandchildren, Jacob Wayne Jackson of Alabama; Jasmine Marie Jackson of Alabama; Kendra Ray Jackson of Jacksonville, Texas; Alan Eugene Jackson of Jacksonville, Texas; Kendrick Centell Grant of Jacksonville, Texas; sisters Donna Odom-Adams and her husband, David Adams of Tallahassee, Florida; Debbie Williamson and her husband, Ed Williamson of Tyler, Texas; Nancy Paul and her husband, Braxton Paul of Tyler, Texas; Sharon Hart Mark of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Odom; Braxton Paul; Monty McRee; Jimmy Cheney; Steve McFarland; and James Woodall.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Gage Parker; Justin Bobbitt; and Tim Parker;
Family meant everything to Corkey and all who knew him loved him.
