Corey Lee Wise, age 61, went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully on July 10, 2020 in Tyler, Texas.  He was born in Bismarck, North Dakota to Myron and Lyla on August 7, 1958.

Corey loved people and never met a stranger.  He was a very kind hearted and loving person and will be truly missed by his friends and family.  His favorite pastime was fishing, especially with his sons Ryan and Dylan.  He also loved exploring with his metal detector.

He worked as a tile contractor for the majority of his life, learning the trade from his Stepfather, Richard.  He had a special talent and did outstanding work. 

Corey is survived by his sons, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Dylan Wise; his Mother, Lyla Bennett and Sisters Debbie Lammons and husband Gary and Donna Slagle, along with many other family members.

He was proceeded in death by his Son, Jonathan, Father, Myron Wise, and Stepfather, Richard Bennett.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of East Texas for caring for him in his final hours.  Also a special thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses that helped him over the past few months.

A private service will be held by the family.
