Cynthia “Cindy” Polendo was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She passed away on July 10th, 2021, surrounded by family and friends by her side at the age of 47.
Cindy was born to Guadalupe Polendo and Mary-Helen Ybarra on August 15th, 1973, in Temple, TX. Cindy had 2 daughters that she loved and adored, Courtney and Nichole. “Muffin” as she liked to be called by her grandchildren, was a proud grandmother to Ailynn, Leightyn, and Silas, who all three were her pride and joy.
Cindy was able to finally pursue her dream and in 2020 received her Paralegal certification, although she never got the chance to use her certification, she was so proud of that accomplishment. Cindy was a hard-worker and for the past 14 years she always worked in the insurance industry.
If Cindy wasn’t spending the day with her cat, Pito, watching true crime and doing all things self-care related, she loved to spend time with her three grandchildren.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Cindy are her grandparents, uncles: Robert and David, aunts: Minga, and Julia, and cousin, Izzy Martinez.
Loved ones that will miss Cindy until they meet again are her parents, Wally and Helen; daughter and son-in-law Courtney and Devin Williams; daughter Nichole; grandchildren: Ailynn (Princess) Williams, Leightyn (Darlin’) Williams, Silas (Buddy) Williams. Her brothers, Wally and Eric, and her sister Debbie, as well as numerous other family and friends.
A visitation for Cindy is scheduled for Thursday July 15th, 2021, at 2:00 PM, immediately followed by a memorial service at 2:30 PM at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, TX.
While flowers are welcome, the family also asks for donations to be made to the American Liver Foundation, in memory of Cindy.
