Edna Nell Wiggins, age 74 of Tyler, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of January 26, 2024. She was born November 28, 1949, in Tyler, Texas to Sam & Pauline Stanford. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard; a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her father Sam Stanford and mother Pauline Stanford. Also preceding her in death were her grandparents.
She was a loving wife, mother, and memaw. Edna had a serving heart which comes from her many years of work as a waitress and was best known for being very outspoken and loving her grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoyed going to Andy’s Frozen Custard and her daily Blue Bell fudge bars.
She will be sorely missed. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Dallas M Wiggins, Sr. of Tyler, daughter Janet Coolman and husband Norman Coolman of Natchitoches, LA, son Dallas M Wiggins Jr. and wife Tina Wiggins of Tyler, brother Charles Stanford of Tyler, grandchildren Danielle Cogburn, Austin Cogburn, Heather Coolman, step grandchildren Aleya Stone and Chance Lanquist, and 1 bonus great-granddaughter Adriah Lanquist. She is also survived by numerous other relatives, in-laws, many nieces, nephews, and cousins on both sides of the family and a host of friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their support, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time.
