George Lindsey Stewart

After a sudden illness, George Lindsey Stewart (53) passed away on June 2, 2015 at Hospice of East Texas. He was born on June 16, 1961 to the late Roy and Eunice Stewart of Tyler and worked as an electrician in East Texas, Dallas and Florida for over 35 years. He is survived by his wife and companion of 30 years, Shelia Jane Casey Stewart, of Tyler; sisters, Dana Welch and husband Paul, of Arp, and Lisa Hindman and husband Daryl, of Overton; 3 stepchildren; 5 nephews, 2 nieces, 2 great nephews and 3 great nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his grandparents, George and Etta Stewart, Jack Beck and Lillie Beck Newby. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 TX-248 Spur; Tyler, 75701.
