Harland Earl Cannon

(June 6, 1928-August 25, 2021)

Born June 6, 1928 in Paragould, Arkansas to Almond L. Cannon and Charlotte Thiel,both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his. (wife of 37 years) Mae Montgomery, (Brother) J. F. Cannon, (Step-Son) Robert Pack,( Step-Son) Jacky Pack, and (Step Daughter) Brenda Harper.

He is survived by( Daughter) Brenda Smith and Husband Pat, (Son) Harlan Dwayne Cannon Sr. and Wife Kathy,( Daughter) Joyce Hendrix and Husband Mike,( Son} Steven Earl Cannon and Wife Marilyn,(Daughter) Ambrosia Lewis, (Daughter)Rachel Burleson,( Step-Son) Ralph Pack and Wife Gail,and (Step-Daughter) Debra Russeau and Husband Borris.

He was blessed with 22 grandchldren,32 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grand children

Harland retired from the Texas Highway Dept.(sign division after 27 years)at age 65. Even before he retired he was in the lawn mowing and maintenance business until the age of 85. He was always a hard worker and very conscientious. He provided for his family and will be missed by all who knew him,.He was loved by all his customers,friends,family, and many,many others.    “MAY HE REST IN PEACE AT LAST”

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday August 31,2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Boren Conner Funeral Home in Bullard,Texas.

Elwood Stetson will be presiding          .

Visitation will be starting at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home before the funeral. Interment will be at the Flint Cemetery in

Flint. Texas. All who wish to attend are welcome!
