HAROLD LEE HELM

Funeral services for Harold Lee Helm, age 80, of Rusk, Texas will be held Friday morning at 10:30 A.M. at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Don Copeland officiating.  Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. 

Harold was one of six children born to Earl and Trudy Mae Loden Helm.  He was born in Rusk, Texas on October 3, 1939 and was a lifelong resident of Rusk.  He loved the outdoors and hunted and fished whenever he could.  He was a member

of Mount Hope Missionary Church.  He passed away in a Tyler hospital on August 13, 2020.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Trudy Helm, a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Lionel Newman, brother, Daryl Helm and niece, Becky Bell.

Harold is survived by his wife, Deborah Whitmore Helm of Rusk, one sister, Ann Carlile of Huntsville, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Billy Helm of Atoy, Kenneth and Janis Helm of Rusk, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Al and Cynthia Boyce of Rusk and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended

family members.

Pallbearers will be Walter Boyce, Adam Halbert, Rodney Newman, Scott Helm, James Newman, Jacob Newman and Steve O’Bannan.             

Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday morning prior to the funeral services beginning at 10:30 A.M. Friday.
