Howard B Light- 85 years young, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2020 at Oak Brook Health Care Center in Whitehouse, TX.
A Private Service will be held at Gerald Cemetery on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. The Officiate will be Brother Ronnie Holmes.
Howard was born on December 03, 1934 to W.A. and Willie Mae Light in Valley Mills, TX.
He served in the Army December 12, 1952 until December 9, 1955.
He received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Medal Conduct December 12, 1952- December 11, 1953, and the Army Occupation Medal (Germany).

Married Charlotte in 1957 and had 7 daughters. Howard loved and was very proud of his daughters' and the accomplishments they had made in their life.
Howard will be remembered for his life stories and the people he touched during his last few years. He liked working on trucks, cars and anything mechanically. He also enjoyed fishing.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers W. T. Light, J.E. Light, Alonzo Light, Clifford Light, Daniel Light and His sisters Minnie Ruth, Ruby Lorenz, and Nancy Pickens.
Survived by his brothers Henry Light, Earl Light, and his sister Elizabeth Light. His daughters Debra Pessink, Linda Light, Cynthia Traywick, Priscilla Cessna, Nancy Cazzell, Sue Grisham, and Janet Valdez.
23 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be the grandsons Howard Tompkins, James Tompkins, Gary Williams Jr., Charles Traywick, and Devon Grisham, Austin Holmes.
