Jack was born in Monroe, Louisiana to William Randolph Daniel and Helen Battaglia
He served in the United States Marine Corp from March 1960 until his retirement in April 1982 as a Staff Sargent. He was an Aircraft Mechanic, earning the following commendations: Pistol Sharp Shooter, Navy Commendation; Korean Service Metal with 2 stars, Army Unit Citation, U.N Metal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with device, Vietnam Service Metal with 5 stars, RVN MUC Cross of Gallantry w/palm, Civil Action Colors and Good Conduct Metal with 4 stars.
After leaving the service, he worked for the Federal Reserve Bank, Dallas branch where he met his wife of nearly 35 years, Maggie. They married in July 1985. While living in Dallas, and after moving to Bullard, Jack was a preacher in the Assembly of God church. They moved to Bullard in 1992.
Jack is survived by his children: Marcy Goza, her husband, Hutson; Jeff Daniel, his wife, Cheryl; and David Daniel, his wife Angela. Stepchildren: Susie Rodriguez, her husband, J. J.; and Lois Higgins.
Grandchildren: Justin, his wife, Shauna; Kristin Davis, her husband, Andy; Jonathan; Austin Daniel, his wife, Mariah; Lauren Powell, her husband, Tyler; Savannah Helms, her husband, Austin; William Higgins, his wife, Alaina; and Aaron Sivess
Great-Grandchildren: Aaron Goza, Elijah Daniel, Jacob and Lily Davis, August Jude and Marie Joy Daniel; Andrew Sivess and Maylea Higgins
