Jeffrey Wayne Lyons, age 47, of Flint, Texas, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus, on October 4, 2022, at UT Health, Tyler, Texas.

He was born February 26, 1975, in Jacksonville, Texas, to parents Kenneth Lyons and Deborah (Durrett) Franklin.

Jeffrey served his country in the Navy for 4 years.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Moody Franklin.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife, Elysia (Elly) Lyons; daughter, Jayce Lyons; and sons Taylor Lyons and Jacob Elrod.

Jeffrey loved all things in life that brought him joy. He had become close to the Lord and enjoyed being a part of the choir at Faith Community Church in Tyler, Texas. He was a simple man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. His family was his world and brought him the greatest of joys. He loved his play days with his dogs Tanner and Darby.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on October 8, 2022, at 1:00pm at Faith Community Church – 17833 Hwy. 69 South, Tyler, Texas – with Pastor Mark Skorheim officiating.
