Jeraldine Cannon

A memorial service for Jerry Cannon, 86, of Tyler, will be held Friday, April 3, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Broadway Church of Christ with Randy Daw and Phil Hancock officiating. Mrs. Cannon passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015, in Tyler. She was born Oct. 28, 1928, in Stamford to James Jefferson "Jeff" Steele and Ellie Elizabeth Evans Steele. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elvin Cannon, to whom she had been married for 72 years upon his death; and her brother, Dwain Steele. She is survived by one son, Ron Cannon, of College Station; daughters, Sheri Gruver, of Tyler, and Nikki Kazmierski and husband Chris, of Tyler; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
