A celebration of life, officiated by Pastor CW Goforth, will be held at Azalea Gardens Church of God on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. 

Jerry Luther Stanley, 73, of Tyler, went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2020. He was a Master Electrician and Licensed Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Contractor. His longstanding work history began in the 60’s where he worked for Wilhite Sheet and Metal and later Martin Mechanical. For the past thirty-one years, Jerry owned and operated J&L Contractors. He was dedicated to his work and always loved to help others. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Bonnie Stanley; brothers Donald Leroy and Kenneth Ray Stanley; sister Lurline Cooper. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joyce Stanley of Tyler; daughter, Dr. Melinda Hermanns and spouse, Hans Hermanns of Tyler. He is also survived by his two grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Hermanns of Tyler, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jerry was a loving husband, Daddy, Paw Paw, and friend. He was a member of Azalea Gardens Church of God.
