Jerry Mack Pittillo of Jacksonville went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 3, 2024 at the age of 82.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Pierce’s Chapel Assembly of God Church located on FM 747 South. With Bro. Ernest Higginbotham, Bro. James Pike and Bro. Jack White will officiate.
Jerry loved to hunting and fishing. His family was dear to his heart. He loved his cats and dogs through the years. Meeting his friends and some of his family members at Brookshires in Jacksonville for breakfast and sometimes lunch was one of his favorite things to do after retirement.
He retired from the Texas Forest Service, which was great because he loved being outdoors. The people that he worked with were great friends and some were like family.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, D. O. “Ben” Pittillo and Treva Lucille Slider Pittillo; his brother Bobby Pittillo and wife Sue ; brother-in-law Brandon Miles; nephew Robert Meador; and niece Becky Pittillo.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Miles Pittillo, brother Larry Pittillo and wife Patsy, sister-in-law Sheila White and husband Jack, sister-in-law Kim Pike and husband, James and sister-in-law, Michelle Miles.
Several nieces and nephews: Patrick Pittillo, Miles Pike, Tina Stewart, Morgan Wolfe, Belinda Waddle, Benjamin Miles and Sandy Wood. A host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
