John Kenneth Reeves Jr. 69 of Tyler, Texas passed away on 2-19-2020.
John was born on June 17, 1950 to John and Evelyn Reeves in Wichita Falls, Texas.
John graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a BSN and was a nurse at UT Health, formerly ETMC in Fairfield and Tyler, Texas.
In 1971 he met Cindy and they wed in 1972, going on to have 4 children; Jenifer, Mike, Julie and James.
Some of his favorite activities included beekeeping, golf, swimming, watching his grandchildren at their many activities and he loved spending time at the beach. He loved his dogs Ellie May and Dottie.
John was preceded in death by his parents John and Evelyn Reeves, his sister Jenna Lea Reeves and son in law Kevin Brantner. He is survived by his wife Cindy Reeves, children Jenifer and husband Mickey French, Michael Shane Reeves, Julie Brantner, James Reeves and Dawndi Tomlinson. Grandchildren include Emma and Tanner French, Madison and Clayton Brantner and Reese Reeves. Siblings include, Joy and husband Blake Osburn, Jerome and wife Danalouise Reeves, Gay Sarmiento, Janita Moravits and many nieces and nephews.
There will be an informal celebration of his life at Boren- Conner Funeral Home at 550 S. Doctor M Roper Pkwy, Bullard, TX 75757 on Monday, February 24th from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. This will be a time where family and friends may come and go and share their memories.
