Monday, April 19, 2021, Josephina Soliz LaCrosse passed for this life into the arms of her Savior following a brief illness at UT Southwestern Medical Center, located in Dallas, TX. Josie was born in Kingsville, TX July 19, 1958 to father, Francisco Soliz, and mother, Aurelia Rojas Soliz. She is survived by both parents, husband, Louis Jerome LaCrosse, daughter, Shana Soliz LaCrosse-McMunn, and son, Leo Julian LaCrosse. She was predeceased by her sister, Gloria Soliz. Other dear family members include her sister, Yolanda Soliz, brothers Frank, Raul and Luis Soliz, and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, bothers and sisters-in-law. Josie was married to devoted husband, Louis LaCrosse, on April 17, 1981, in San Antonio, TX. She graduated from Kingsville High School and attended Texas A&I University where she was a Phi-Kappa little sister. She was certified in bank loan processing, medical coding, and mediation. She was also a certified Spanish language translator. Josie’s most recent employment was at UT Business Office as a Patient Revenue Cycle Manager. Josie greatly enjoyed and was dedicated to her job and to those with whom she worked. She was an active parishioner at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church where she wholeheartedly participated in numerous religious activities and celebrations. She was a long-time member of the “Bells of St. Mary.” Josie’s funeral Mass will be conducted on Saturday, April 24th, 2021, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, located at 18221 FM 2493 Flint, TX 75762 at 10:00AM. Following a brief viewing, Celebrants, Fathers James Rowland and Timothy Kelly will conduct a funeral Mass. All are invited. Funeral Home Services are provided by Boren-Conner Funeral Home.
