Kimberly Cheree Hollowell McGee, 58, of Bullard, Tx. passed away at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Tx. on March 23, 2024 to join her Lord and Savior in Heaven. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at New Beginnings Community Church, in Ben Wheeler, to begin at 2:00pm. Pastor Shelby Davidson will officate the service. She was born to parents, James Hollowell and Goldie White Russ in Dallas,Tx.

Kim grew up and graduated from Van High School in Van, Tx. She lived in Bullard, Tx. for the last 15 years. She previously worked at Kissam Elementary School as a secretary in Chapel Hill, Tx. Her last place of employment was Bullard Elementary School as a secretary in Bullard, Tx. for approximately 10 years before retiring.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Goldie White Russ; Kim’s husband, William (Bill) McGee; step mother, Dolores Hollowell; step father, Mike Norris; grandmother, Susie Hollowell; grandmother, Nora Mae Gilley Steele.

Survivor’s include her father, James Hollowell, from Lindale, Tx.; her only child, Derek James Harris; grandchildren, Jack, Presley and Waylon Harris, all from Spring, Tx.; her sister, Mechele Hollowell Morris (husband, James Morris), from Bullard, Tx.; niece, Kailee Morris Gonzalez (husband, Pedro Gonzalez), and their children, Rhea and Luka, from Tyler, Tx.; stepdaughter, Shannon Hammond (husband, John), and their children, Hudson and Jordan, all from Tyler, Tx.; stepson, Matt McGee, (wife, Ashley), and their children, Peighton, Riley and Cash, from Lindale, Tx.; stepdaughter, Krystle McGee, and her daughter, Ruby, both from Tyler, Tx.
