Kristin “Pepper” Ann Osborn, 40, of Jacksonville Texas passed away on March 19, 2024. She was born September 27, 1983, in Gainesville Texas. Pepper’s complicated medical needs resulted in her being placed in a nursing home at two years old, expected to live only six more months. Kathleen Thorson Osborn, a nursing student, met Pepper and knew she was meant to be part of her family. Kathleen and Fred Osborn fostered little Pepper in their home and were eventually able to adopt her. Pepper is preceded in death by her mother Kathleen, her uncles Ron, Richard, David and Gary and her aunts Donna,
Pepper is survived by her father Fred Osborn, her siblings, Kimberly Kay, Timothy Thorson, Todd Thorson, Karen Thorson and Heather Baker, her nephews Gabriel Kay, Jacob Greenberg, Jonah Kay and Leo Kay and her nieces Cecilia Kay, Olivia Kay, Eliza Greenberg, Lily Thorson, and Josie Thorson.
Pepper graduated from a Life Skills program at Muenster High School in Muenster Texas where she was loved by the staff and fellow students. Pepper spent her life warming hearts with her smiles and spreading joy with her laugh.
A Divine Mercy Chaplet and funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 11:00 AM Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Jacksonville Texas. All are welcome to come and celebrate her life. Boren-Conner Funeral Home of Bullard & Jacksonville Texas is assisting with arrangements.
