Leroy “Buster” Hammers was born on May 5, 1951 in Marshall, Texas to Lee and Wanda Ann (Baker) Hammers. Buster went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2022 in the comfort of his home.

Buster was larger than life and loved fiercely. He was an avid hunter and fisherman from a young age. He taught these skills to his children, Robert, Wanda, and Lee Hammers. They have since passed these traditions down to their own children.

Buster’s greatest joy came from his grandchildren Katie, Adriana, Kylie, Tristan, Quintan, Haden, Julia, Layla, Hunter, Paisley, Callie, and great grandchildren.

Buster is survived by his wife and fishing partner of 21 years, Rhonda Hammers and brother, Rickey Hammers.

A memorial to celebrate the life of Buster Hammers is planned for May 7, 2022 from 12p-5:30p at Pinehaven Park Dr. on Lake Palestine in Frankston, Texas. All friends and family who loved him are invited to attend.
