Nathan Donald Campbell, born May 13, 1937 in Palestine, Texas, passed away onFriday, November 2, 2018 at his home in Tyler, Texas. As a proud entrepreneur he beganCampbell Paint and Wallcovering, a family-owned business serving East Texas for over 40years. He was also a Veteran, having served his country during the Korean War. He was an avidsportsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, and camping with loved ones. In 1958, he married his wifeof 60 years, Norma Campbell, in Bullard, Texas. Together they traveled the world scuba diving,deep-sea fishing, and sharing their wanderlust with their four children, Katherine, Stacy, Tyler,and Wendy, before settling down in Tyler to welcome grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Heloved nothing more than to have family join him in the outdoors, creating memories we willcherish forever. We are all thankful for the countless trips with Papa at the wheel of themotorhome, leading us to our next family adventure. He is survived by his sister Patricia and herhusband, Winson Bearden; brother Dennis and his partner Rocio Campbell; brother Hal WayneCampbell; wife, Norma Tillman Campbell; their four children, Katherine and Randall Horn;Stacy and Scott Underwood; Nathan "Tyler" and Donna Campbell; and Wendy and ThomasEverson; as well as 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in passing by hisfather, Reginald "Reggie" Campbell, and mother, Johnnie Smith Campbell, of Jacksonville,Texas. Services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018, 1:00 PM, at Boren-Connor FuneralHome in Bullard, Texas.
