Richard Raymond Roberts lived a long and happy life. If you knew Richard, you would know he was a great story teller and if you heard one you heard them all. Mostly like several times on many different occasions. His favorite one was being born on the kitchen table and the Cougars that cries like lady at his front gate. Richard was always kind and gentle man. He never met a stranger. If you need help he would be there. He loved his family so much he always carried pictures of them in his wallet. He loved his great nephews and nieces. Most nights he could be found teaching them to play cards , coloring with them or telling them about.the little piggies. Only thing was Richard only had four toes. So he would count to four and all of his little piggy would run away. Ask his great nephews they can tell you all about the little piggies. I would not play poker or Rummy with his great niece she'll beat you every time. Richard also enjoyed cheering on his nephew and his brother every time they bowl. He loves his St Louis Cardinals and his Kansas City Chiefs. He loved to hunt and fish. He was always the one that caught the biggest fish Richard's younger years he was a I cook for many years. So he never let you go hungry but you weren't always sure if your taco had mayonnaise on it or not . Richard will be greatly missed. He was survived by his younger brother Roberts Roberts and and his wife Loretta , and his two younger sisters Karen Hayes and Gracie Martinez. Lots of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family asked that if you knew Richard and want to honor his memory to donate to the Alzheimer's Association. Towards the end of his life Richard was battling dementia. Even though he was losing his memory. he never lost the gentleness in his crystal blue eyes. Rip Richard we love you and will miss you . I hope you know how much we love you see soon.
