Ronny Tate, 66, of Jacksonville, Texas went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2022, in Jacksonville, Texas, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was surrounded by his family.
He was born to parents E.L and Janell Tate on September 26, 1955 in Jacksonville, Texas. After the tragic passing of his father in 1962, Janell went on to marry Shelly Cleaver; whom raised Ronny and his brothers.
He worked at Cardinal Health in Jacksonville, Texas, for 32 years prior to his battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Ronny loved his family, playing music on his guitar, hunting for Indian artifacts, hunting deer and most of all being a PawPaw.
He was preceded in death by his father, E.L. Tate; mother, Janell Cleaver; brothers, Scotty Cleaver, Dennis Tate and sister Rue Lynn Cleaver.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Donna; father, Shelly Cleaver; brothers, Larry Tate and wife Sharon, Ricky Tate and wife Marla; Jimmy Cleaver and wife Ginger, Michael Cleaver and wife Melissa; sister in law, Vera Tate; son Jason Minton and wife Marla; daughters, Tori Simpson and fiancé Tyson Metzig and Halie Tate. Grand children Ciara Minton and fiancé Josh Kennedy, Payton Wilson, Brynlee Simpson, Marilyn Bundrick and husband Brent, Matt Metzig, Collens Metzig and River Howell; great grandchildren McKinley, James, Adalyn, Letty, Anderson and Beau, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Boren Conner Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Texas.
