Sonja Johnson Moody was summoned by our heavenly father Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the age of  70. She was born as Sonja Constancia Van Zeventer on November 17, 1951 in Jakarta, Indonesia, the  youngest daughter of Emile Van Zeventer and Jeanne Francoise Avis Van Zeventer and sister to Beth Yvonne Van Zeventer. The family resided in Holland for several years before relocating to the United States of America and becoming Citizens in 1966 and residing in San Mateo County, California. Sonja later moved to Mount Enterprise, Texas where she captured the heart of her future husband. Sonja married Jackie Moody on August 16, 2003 in Jacksonville, Texas. Jackie's lifelong friend Reverend Hank  Chandler performed the ceremony.

Predeceased by her parents, Sonja is survived by her sister Beth Yvonne Rees and husband Paul A. Rees;  step sister Shirley Weddik; brother-in-law James Moody and wife Sherrie Yarbrough; brother-in-law Joe Moody and wife Anne Moody; several nieces and nephews; and her loving husband Jackie Moody.
