Tommy Jack Davis passed away surrounded by his wife of 50 years, Debbie (Debra Elms Davis) and close friends on the 9th day of June 2022 at the age of 71. Tommy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and man of God. He was born on March 18, 1951 in Pampa, Texas.
Tommy served the Lord in various capacities and locations, including Springfield, Missouri; Burlington, Colorado; Amarillo and Austin, Texas; ending his ministry in Tyler, Texas. He was a priest in the Reformed Episcopal Church. After retiring from the ministry, he taught himself data-base programming and spent many hours creating websites.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Debra; daughter, Tricia (Trish) Davis of Hamburg, Germany; daughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Davis Petty & her husband Brian of Amarillo, Texas; and son, Ian Jackson Davis & his wife Stephanie of Austin, Texas; grandchildren Liliane Marie Steinbruck of Lund, Sweden; Evelyn Marie Steinbruck & Josephine Elizabeth Steinbruck of Hamburg, Germany; Gabriella Elizabeth Grace Petty, and Truman Jackson Petty of Amarillo; and Eli Jackson Davis, Vienna Davis Burriss, and Charles Forrest Davis of Austin. Also by sister, Becky Craig & husband Tom of Oakwood, Tx; brother Greg Davis & wife Debbie of Pampa; brother Todd Davis & wife Patty, of Pampa; sister Dronda Kelsey & husband Mike, of Pampa; brother-in-law Kevin Elms and partner, Bud Robinson of Palm Springs, Ca; sister-in-law Daphne Nazworth & husband Curtis of Amarillo; and many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church South on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
