Walter “Kendall” Darnell, age 32, of Tyler, Texas passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
He was born in Dallas, Texas on March 30, 1988 to Walter Kent Darnell and Diana Selman Darnell.
Kendall lived most of his life in the Whitehouse/Tyler area and graduated from Whitehouse High School. He worked in the retail and restaurant industries for 16 years. He loved all things Irish and would talk in his best Irish accent when you least expected it! Kendall was loved by all who met him and was always willing to help his friends with car repairs or just to lend a listening ear.
Left to cherish Kendall’s memory are his mother, Diana Darnell; father and step-mother, Kent and Renee Darnell; brothers, Kerry Darnell, Kensey Darnell, and Kentson Darnell; sisters, Kelsey Darnell and Kristina Darnell; step-brother, Michael Edmonds; step-sisters, Briana Contreras and Nicole Edmonds; paternal grandparents, Ray and Virgie Darnell; maternal grandparents, Robert and Jean Selman; many uncles, aunts, and cousins; and a host of extended family and friends who loved him dearly.
The memorial service will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, Texas and will be officiated by Ken Avaritt.
Honorary pallbearers are Kerry Darnell, Kensey Darnell, Kentson Darnell, Michael Edmonds, Brock Selman, Branden Selman, Ricky Gerrald, Logan Peer, Travis Jones, and John Ward.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association or a charitable organization of your choice.
